Compete with established advertisers in home automation and connect Belkin’s well-known brand name with a new category.

Belkin’s WeMo Home Automation product had a unique selling point – a custom iPhone app that could operate the system remotely.
STRATEGY
Pinpoint Mac enthusiasts and iPhone users who are already familiar with the Belkin brand name, and also connect with tech reviewers to get them excited about the product so they write about it.
PROJECT RESULTS
Average unit sales increased by an average of +82% per week during our media campaign, translating into revenue that more than doubled the cost of the media. The WeMo Brand Team at Belkin prevailed on management to get additional funds to continue the campaign after the original end date due to sales correlation.
